Founded in 2009, IAUA® is a non-profit educational association, the only such association focused solely on Appraisal. IAUA® provides Certification of Umpires and Appraisers and education of stakeholders in the Appraisal Process. IAUA® has certified hundreds of Appraisers and Umpires through IAUA® seminars as well as IAUA® classes presented at many nationally recognized organizations. IAUA® members agree to abide by the Bylaws and Code of Ethics. Non-members may attend the IAUA class, take the certification exam, and obtain their results. However, Certification is conferred only to IAUA® members who are in good standing and have successfully passed the exam, earning designations as:
