I have been directly involved in the construction industry for more than 50 years. This includes all phases of work ranging from general labor to ownership of general construction firms providing services in the construction of residential and commercial structures. Over the years my responsibilities have covered every aspect of construction including general labor, job superintendent, project manager, and ownership
duties. In addition, beginning in 1984 I was engaged in the business of insurance adjusting in California. This includes the supervision of the preparation of repair scopes and estimates for the adjustment and settlement of property insurance claims in California. I have been qualified in the California Superior Court on multiple occasions to testify and testified at trial concerning opinions on the scope of repair for real property losses, the cost of repair of real property losses, the causes of loss or damage in real property losses, California standards for the settlement of real property loss claims, and application of those standards to particular real property losses to determine adequacy of scope and estimate.
